Tips for making Air Frying seafood nachos

  • Choose your seafood: Start by selecting your seafood. Shrimp, crab, lobster, salmon and scallops are all great options for seafood nachos. You can also use a combination of seafood for added variety.
  • Prepare your seafood: If using fresh seafood, clean and devein the shrimp, remove any shells or bones, and chop the lobster or crab meat into bite-sized pieces. If using frozen seafood, make sure to thaw it first and pat it dry.
  • Season your seafood: Season your seafood with your preferred seasoning. You can use a combination of spices like garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper for a flavorful seafood blend.
  • Prepare the nachos: Arrange tortilla chips in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Top with your seasoned seafood and shredded cheese.
  • Cook the seafood in the air fryer first: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook the seafood for about 8 minutes.
  • Add toppings: Once the seafood is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and begin building your nachos. Add toppings like diced tomatoes, sliced jalapenos, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice for added flavor.
