Air Fryer Pink Salmon Salad

5/5

Are you looking for a healthy and delicious meal that’s easy to prepare? Look no further than air fryer salmon salad! Air frying is a healthier alternative to traditional frying methods, and it’s perfect for cooking salmon to a crisp, golden finish while keeping it juicy and tender. Paired with fresh greens and a zesty dressing, air fryer salmon salad is a satisfying and nutritious meal that’s perfect for lunch or dinner. This recipe was created around the new PINK Sauce that was released nationwide in every Walmart! After trying it, I thought it only made sense to make something lighter that maybe spoke to the spring/summer time. Adding Strawberries, Onions, Pecans, and Feta Cheese made this salad a winner. I hope you try it and let me know what you think!

Making a GOod air fryer Salmon Salad!

  • Choose fresh salmon: Fresh salmon is key to making a delicious air fryer salmon salad. Look for salmon that is firm and has a bright pink or orange color. I went with a Pink Salmon – found in the Pacific. However, an Atlantic Salmon will work just as well.
  • Season the salmon: Before cooking the salmon in the air fryer, season it with salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you prefer, such as garlic powder, paprika, or lemon zest.
  • Use a non-stick basket: To prevent the salmon from sticking to the basket of the air fryer, use a non-stick basket or spray the basket with cooking spray.
  • Cook at the right temperature: Set the air fryer to 400°F and cook the salmon for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet.
  • Let the salmon cool: Once the salmon is cooked, let it cool for a few minutes before adding it to the salad. This will prevent the lettuce from wilting and ensure that the salmon stays moist and tender.
  • Choose fresh fruits and vegetables: Use fresh, crisp vegetables like cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, onions, and bell peppers to add color and flavor to the salad.
