A Perfect Blend of Love and Flavor

At Air Fryer Papi, we believe that cooking is an act of love, and what better way to express that love than with our Air Fryer Marry Me Shrimp Tacos! Inspired by the delicious Marry Me Chicken recipe, we've created a unique seafood twist with shrimp and tacos.

Before we dive into the recipe, let's talk about why we love air fryers and how they make our cooking adventures even more exciting. As you may have learned from our posts on surprising facts about air fryers and common mistakes most people make with their air fryer, this kitchen appliance is a game-changer. It offers a healthier alternative to traditional frying, and it's perfect for creating delightful dishes like Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp Po'Boy and our Air Fryer White Pizza.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Dried Italian herbs
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Grated parmesan
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
  • Small flour tortillas
  • Avocado slices, for topping
  • Fresh salsa, for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F.
  2. Toss the shrimp in olive oil, salt, pepper, and dried Italian herbs. Once seasoned, place the shrimp in the air fryer basket and cook for 5-7 minutes until they're pink and cooked through. This method is similar to how we prepare our Air Fryer Lemon Garlic Salmon Bites.
  3. While the shrimp is cooking, prepare the creamy sauce. Heat the heavy cream and chicken broth in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the grated parmesan until the sauce is creamy and smooth. This process is reminiscent of the sauce we make for our Air Fryer Garlic Butter Chicken Bites and Asparagus.
  4. Once the shrimp is done, remove from the air fryer and toss them in the creamy sauce. Let them marinate for a few minutes to absorb all the flavors.
  5. To assemble the tacos, warm the small flour tortillas, spread some fresh salsa on each, and top with creamy shrimp. Finish off with a few avocado slices, just like we do in our Air Fryer Lobster Avocado Toast.
